Welcome to the Sussex Springers Introduction Page!

This is your starting point for information on the club.

Formed in the spring of 2001, the club competed under the name of Burgess Hill Trampoline Club for the first 6 months of our life. Eventually we decided that a snappy name was needed - if only to compete with our most local rivals Sussex Martlets and Gatwick Flyers. One of our leading lights at the time was Keith Broadley, a local Dog Trainer, and he came up with the very apt title "Springers". To go with this, a bit of alliteration seemed appropriate so "Sussex Springers" was born.

The club has 14 qualified coaches at the moment. Stella Jackson is qualified to High Performance Coach level 5 and Phil Comber, Alan Pierce and Neil Garrett are all Senior Club Level 4 Coaches. Gail Andrews is a Level 3 coach and our Level 2 coaches are Laura Pierce, Ali Day, Sue Minter, Kayleigh Nisbet and Chelsey Pierce. Our Level 1 coaches are Jonathan Pack, Mike Jackson, Oly Boag and Megan Comber. Stella and Laura have also taken the Special Needs Coaching module. Carol Comber and Alan have both taken the Computer Recording course as well. Stella and Carol are our County level judges and our other qualified judges are Stephanie Paul, Laura, Mike Jackson, Steve Minter, Kayleigh and Chelsey , all at Club Judge level.

You can find our competition record here, a bit about who’s who in the club, or investigate our training sessions . If you want to know more about the rules and regulations governing Trampolining, you can find those and the aims and objectives of the club are also outlined elsewhere on the site.
